We were practicing our program for most of the month in October and did the program last week and so I am combining a lot of the sharing times into this weeks lesson and I am completely copying the idea with the envelopes and paper behind them by making those and putting them on a poster board. I have 9 envelopes and in each envelope I have the following word strips: 1) D&C 1:38 2)Thomas S. Monson (discuss a biography & current prophet) 3) Picture of the Savior and discuss that when we follow the prophet we follow the Savior 4) Matt 28:19-20 & D&C 133:37 5) I Hope they call me on a mission...sing this 6) Missionary Container (items inside for preparing to serve) 7)Moroni 10:32 (put in order wordstrips) 8) 4 Footsteps of repentance 9) Picture of the temple.
We are just going to get through as many as we can. I think this is a simple and basic way to involve the children and combine the sharing time ideas by covering a little piece of each topic. Most of the ideas came straight from the Sharing time outline. Hope these work!!!
Thanks always for your ideas!Logan and Traci Woodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01379028923561991420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-609059070805593973.post-51559632119515022112010-10-24T14:01:52.832-07:002010-10-24T14:01:52.832-07:00I used your idea for week three at church today an...I used your idea for week three at church today and it was a big hit. The kids followed along very well and they loved the treat at the end to take home. I'm pretty lame, but He still loves me and helps me.

Sister Kristy- I'm so glad you shared that! I'm not sure where the quote is from, please tell! While listening to conference I had a definite, "Woah... wait a minute" moment when I heard both talks. God is good and I'm so excited to do a FHE on it. And by the way, you must have been truly inspired with your lesson on the 14 fundamentals of the church because they talked a lot about them in Conference. Thanks for all the work you put into these lessons so that so many others (leaders and children alike) can be blessed.Kristy, Kole & Kidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04903826554741946760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-609059070805593973.post-55834383572688360872010-09-30T22:32:40.280-07:002010-09-30T22:32:40.280-07:00Thank you so much!
