Hello my dearest dearest brothers and sisters. I know this is selfish but I utterly and desperately need your prayers for me and my family. My 2 month old child, my firstborn son, died yesterday. He is with Christ. I know this. But I need you to tell me you love me. That we can be one with Christ. Please mourn with me.
I am so sorry. I know no words are adequate right now, but know that you are included in many prayers. May God get you through this most difficult time and feel the love and comfort of our Lord and Savior.
ReplyDeleteoh no, i'm so so sorry. you are in my prayers, may God bless you with peace and comfort.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so sorry. You have a strong testimony but the pain must be unbearable. You will be in my constant thoughts and prayers. Please be gentle with yourself. I hope you have plenty of support around you as you suffer this terrible heartache.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through, please know that our Savior loves you and your sweet son and will always watch over you, even in times of trial. Let the knowledge of the Gospel comfort you!
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers. Families are forever.
ReplyDeleteYou and your familiy are in prayers around the world I am sure! I agree there are no words that are enough.
ReplyDeleteOh, no. Your heart must be completely broken! Your sweet baby. Oh, I know it hurts more than anything imaginable. My little Benjamin died just before birth, and it was by far the hardest thing I have ever gone through. Almost two years later, I still cry nearly every day over missing my son.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me cry now to think that you are going through this now. I am so sorry.
These first few days are awful because of the shock, but there is also a celestial peace about them in a way. Your son is still very close and I think that the Lord is also. I felt a very deep peace during that time, even in the midst of the anguish that never stopped.
I am still surprised to see how serene I look in the pictures from his funeral. Yet at the time I woke up crying every morning, woke up during the night crying, it just was like an unbearable nightmare that couldn't be escaped from.
Yes, it is comforting to know that you will be with him again, but I know it hurts so. bad. to have him gone now. For a long time I wished I could die, too. I still wish that the Second Coming could be tomorrow. Well, actually, tonight!
Please know my heart and my prayers are very much with you. I have collected a lot of poetry, comforting scriptures, etc. since the loss of my baby boy. If there comes a time that you would like to have access to that, please email me.
Love,
Michelle
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayer at this time can bring comfort, but it is so nice to know that you are loved and other people feel for your loss. My brother died really young and I remember my parents saying that as they watch the world go on around them people seemed utterly unaffected by their loss. We feel your loss, and you are in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteI hope your family, friends, your testimony & the Savior will bring you the comfort you need to keep going. I have been so inspired by your blog.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness.....I don't know what to say. I have been reading this blog for a long time and I love your helpful ideas. I can't express how sad I am for you. I don't know the details. But my heart is ACHING for you right now.
ReplyDeleteThis is NOT the same as losing a baby, but in July my dear dear brother was suddenly killed in an accident. He was two years younger than me and I can't tell you how close I was with him. My life has been ripped apart in some ways. I loved him more than I can ever say. This has been in many ways the HARDEST thing I have ever been through. I miss him so much I can't breathe most of the time. Even though I know he is in Heaven and is waiting for me and the rest of the family....I still ache with the unfairness of the situation.
Nothing anyone says to you will make this okay. You will actually find that people, while meaning well, might say some very STUPID things. What I have learned through my own experience is the realness of the atonement. Christ not only died so that we could all have eternal life, He suffered so that He could REALLY understand our agony when we are going through these kind of trials.
Many nights I have been up crying late late into the night and I have felt Christ's arms around me. He is there crying with me so much of the time. THAT to me is a huge part of the atonement. Christ saw this precise moment in time when you would need Him like this. He saw that in the garden. Rely on it. Some days I know it's the only thing getting me through.
I don't know you, but I love you as a sister. I am so sorry you have to go through this.
I am so sorry. Things like this should never happen. I will be thinking of you and your family.
ReplyDeleteso sorry to hear. may god bless and comfort you. i hope the peace from your testimony of the gospel will help you through this very difficult time
ReplyDeleteMy heart truly does mourn with you. I too have had a baby die. A mothers heart is deep and pained with grief, I know. But I also know that your child is with God and he is loved and cared for there. I know this because I have received a witness of this when my child died. Our Father in Heaven is in control and you will mother him. Time does heal your pained heart, I promise. Much love to you- Lisa
ReplyDeleteI love you. Peace be with you and your family at this time.
ReplyDeleteDear Sofia, I can't imagine how much this situation hurts. Please, be sure that you'll all be in my family's prayers. with love
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you! May you have the comfort of the spirit through this very difficult time and be sustained by the knowledge that families are eternal and you will be reunited with your son once more! Thank you for all you do!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you. Especially as I'm waiting for the birth of my second. You are loved. I've treasured your blog for some time now. Thanks for sharing your wonderful insights. May the Spirit continue to comfort you and your family at this time.
ReplyDeleteMy sincere sorrow and apologies to you and your family. May you be blessed with peace and surrounded by love. Know you are in so many prayers at this time. Families are forever and one day you'll be together again.
ReplyDeleteI don't not know what you are going though, I can't comprehend. I have such empathy for you though. I do know there is one who does know what pains you are feeling and our Savior will be there to comfort you. Please know you are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry! I have a 6 week old girl and I can't imagine the feelings. Your family is in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteNo words can describe the pain that you are going through, and also the love and support that I want to share with you. I will indeed put your name in the temple and pray for you. May God bless you until you are with your son again. Lots of love
ReplyDeleteI am terribly sorry for your loss. I think you are amazing and am so touched by all the work you do for primary. I have used several of your sharing time ideas.
ReplyDeleteI will mourn with you and you will be in my prayers. My sincere condolenses.
You will be in my prayers. One thing that came to my mind as I was thinking of you is the family home evening that you wrote on death and the resurrection. You had some very beautiful thoughts and I wonder if reading your own words could give you some comfort right now. I love you.
ReplyDeleteYou are loved by so many around the world! Take comfort in their love and prayers for you. I'm praying for you and your family. Your family is now on the prayer roll in the Oakland Temple. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you and your dear family. I am horribly sorry to hear this news and hope you will be ok.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so, so, so sorry. God be with you and your family right now. You will be in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, you and your family are in our thoughts and most importantly our prayers.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss. When I first found out I was pregnant for my oldest son, I developed a problem that left a very good chance that I might lose him before ever seeing him. Thankfully the Lord blessed me with a healthy baby and I have never taken that for granted. I remember the feeling I had then of just the possibility of losing my son, and it was unbearable. I can't imagine the pain you're going through. I'm not sure if this would be of any help to you, but I've heard it said before that the most righteous of spirits are the ones that need the shortest amount of time on this earth. There's a greater need for them to be missionaries to those who have passed on without knowing the truth of the gospel. Your son, so tiny and sweet here on earth, might just be one of the strongest, most brilliant men in heaven helping to bring others to the truthfulness of the gospel. If you picture him there, doing that, instead of how you knew him here, it might just help you to understand a little more of why Heavenly Father needed him so soon. It won't ever take away the pain of losing a child, I don't believe anyone can ever feel whole when someone they love passes, but know that Heavenly Father will always be there for you. Be sure to open up to Him, and to remain close with Him, and in turn, you'll remain close with your little one. My prayers are you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. (((((HUGS)))))
ReplyDeleteMy Heart is saddened. May the Lord bless you and your family.
ReplyDeleteThough I don't know you and just found your blog recently, my heart goes out to you. The biggest comfort I could offer you is the knowledge that I have that God is in control and he is there to sustain and comfort you. May you find peace and comfort in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteGod be with you. This is a trial that no one can imagine unless they have experienced it. You're in my prayers. Cling to that which you know to be true.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear sweet friend. How my heart aches for you and your family. I am at a complete loss of words but had to tell you that we are praying for you all and want you to know how much we love you. May God be near and His comfort lift you.
ReplyDeleteThat breaks my heart. The Lord has a plan for your family and surely knows your pain. I hope you can find peace. You will be in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you in your time of loss. Thank you for sharing with us. Prayers are POWER.

ReplyDeleteSofia, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteYou have an army behind you sending up prayers on your behalf.
ReplyDeleteI, for one, have been blessed by your efforts and dedication to your blog and have never taken the time to thank you. So, thank you. Just think of the blessings you deserve just for this one little thing you do for others. The least we can do for you is pray. I know I will be.
You ARE loved. He knows your pain - and has already borne it. Let Him carry you now. God bless you, sweet Sofia.
Your sister in the gospel, Brooke
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am praying for comfort and peace to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteSofia and family,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear of this. Know that many love you and your testimony of the gospel is strong, do not let this trial let you think otherwise. You are a stronger woman today, than you were yesterday and will be even stronger tomorrow. The love that we share as sisters in the gospel is strong - rely on those around you for things, even if you think you don't need something... you always need something; someone to sit with, cry to, talk with, go to the store with... every single thing you do will be hard especially in the beginning. All of these things are things you did with your son physically next to you, now when you go do these things again emotions will resurface. Don't be hard on yourself and don't be afraid to ask for help.
My heart is broken for you.
ReplyDeleteI have a 1 month old baby.
I grew up in a family where my oldest brother drowned at a very young age. This happened before my birth, yet his influence has lived on in my family and in our lives for the past 30 years. Please know that even beyond the veil your sweet little one will never be forgotten, and he will continue to be felt and will continue to be an important part of your family.
My Moms ability to stay strong during her pain, and to search out Christ through prayer and scripture study made her the strongest most incredible person that I have ever met.
It may not feel like it right now, but I know you will be able to do the same. You are loved more then words can express. The savior knows your pain, You can and will be upheld and strengthened.
You and your sweet baby are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your baby is still YOUR baby, you WILL get to hold him, and cuddle him and raise him again. But in a better place, spared from the ugly things of this world.
I don't know you, but I am sitting here filled with an unexplained intense love for you and your family. I can only begin to imagine how our savior feels toward you at this moment.
May comfort find you.
Love,
Pam
I am so sorry for your loss. I know the Lord will pour out His peace and comfort to you as you have done for all of us and the many children throughout the world! You and your sweet family are in our prayers.

ReplyDeleteThis is the blog of a dear mother that just lost her first born son at 4 months old. Suddenly and unexpectedly. She is looking for others going through the same pain.
Loves!
Sofia,
ReplyDeleteI turn to your blog for ideas and inspiration all the time. Though we've never met, I feel like I know you. You are an amazingly strong woman, filled with fantastic ideas and inspiration. I am so sorry for your loss. But I am so glad you have the Gospel and understand you'll see your son again someday. You will be in my prayers. Please know that I am your Sister and love you!!!!
Hugs,
Nola Frazier
I am so sorry for the heartbreak and loss you are going through. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I have a friend who lost her young son recently. While mourning with her I initially thought that there could be nothing worse than this. But I have come to realize that although she is suffering immensely her precious boy returned to a loving Heavenly Father pure and without sin. He is there waiting for her to join him someday.
ReplyDeleteI contrast this with another mother I know who's children are all still living, but she has lost most of them. Lost them to lives of sin.
I hope you will find comfort in knowing that your son will not have to battle Satan on this earth. He has already returned home safely.
Your family is in my prayers.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I know that you're beautiful baby is wrapped up in his loving Savior's arms right now. Just like the Savior is holding you in His loving arms too during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteFamilies are forever- may this bring you some comfort and that you will be able to hold your son again throughout all eternity.

ReplyDeleteI will pray for you and your family. I know your strength will continue and hope that you have many friends and family around you to take care of you.
ReplyDeleteI have read your blog for about a year now-I feel like I know you. I can imagine what you must be feeling right now-In my family, we have had 3 babies die at a very young age and you can't help but think that the reason they are sent back to God at such a young age is they are perfect! Too perfect to be here on this earth. Although it is hard now, how great you will be blessed. FAMILIES ARE FOREVER-We are so lucky to have that knowledge and comfort. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep in mind that you are strong enough to endure and you must so you can be with your son again. He is waiting for you. You are in our prayers to help you more forward and continue to bless all of us who work with children in Primary. We send our Aloha (love) from the Big Island of Hawaii
ReplyDeleteSofia, this is not a selfish request at all. Losing a child is such a major challenge in your life, especially one so young. My 22yr old stepdaughter died just 2 yrs ago on 9.12. She had a terrible illness that was under diagnosis just 4 months prior to her death. No words can describe the pain of the loss, yet we rejoiced in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the knowledge that we will see this sweet daughter someday and we can be a family together forever. I want you to know that we are having spiritual moments/special moments as a family or we are in the Temple - we have felt her spirit there so powerfully. Cling on to the faith and knowledge that you will be with your sweet son in the eternities. You are greatly loved - you are never alone. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult challenge in your life. Read D&C 121:7 - change son to daughter - this is for you! You are loved!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry for your loss. Please give yourself the time you need to heal. There isn't a time limit on such things and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. my thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for you loss and can't imagine how you feel. Christ does and he will encircle you in his arms. I will pray for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI just want to tell you that you are certainly not being selfish asking for all of us to pray for you! We all care about you and feel your pain and sorrow. May you feel the love and comfort you need during this very horrible and difficult time. God must have some great plan for your precious little one. My you find peace and comfort; you are in my thoughts and prayers. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to properly convey my thoughts on this. I will pray for you and your husband. I hope you will be blessed with peace and love as you mourn your sweet baby boy.
ReplyDeletei am so sorry, that has to be the hardest trial in life, you are in my prayers
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort. When I lost my baby I learned to realize the importance of the Atonement in our lives, not only did our Savior suffer for our sins, but for any pain we may experience in this life. I know that our Heavenly Father will bless you and your eternal family as you endure this with faith. May you find peace in your life now as you await your reunion with your precious child.
ReplyDeleteI have no way to know how you feel. That is a trial we all hope to never have to deal with at such a young age. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you, and so does our Savior.

We appreciate and love you for all that you do to share your talents and knowledge in helping us help Heavenly Father's children. Our hearts are one with you as we grieve with your family. Sofia, I have not words that can take your pain away only that I pray for you and your family. Several years ago when Drew and I were first married, our neighbors lost their son. They went through that trial with such grace and faith. I remember asking the wife how she did it. She shared with me a sweet testimony of the spirit and how He upheld and sustained her more so in that time of her life than ever. I know that peace comes when we need it most. Sofia, my heart is just aching right now for you. I want to embrace you and never let go. My love is forever with you.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for your loss, may the Lord bless you! Our family will keep you in our prayers. The Lord knows knows you, your loss and heartache. Thankyou for your inspiring blog.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to understand why such painful things happen to such great people. You are experiencing something that is all of our's worst nightmare. We will pray for you. You are dearly loved, even as a "stranger". We will pray for your comfort until you are reunited with your little one.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry!! There is absolutely nothing I could say to make you feel better but know that our prayers are with you and your family!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you. As a mother, I can't believe to imagine your incalculable loss. Please know that I'm wrapping my arms around you from afar. You're not alone.
ReplyDeleteYou are in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain that you are in right now, but you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteSo Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteYour ideas for primary are always inspiring to me. I lost my brother about two months ago and it helps me to remember the peace and healing that Heavenly Father offers. Keep faith strong, and allow yourself to cry. Heavenly Father loves you!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your pain. I hope this quote will bring you comfort as it did me in a similar situation:
ReplyDeleteElder Lance B. Wickman said in an LDS General Conference address "grief is the natural by-product of love. One cannot selflessly love another person and not grieve at his suffering or eventual death. The only way to avoid the grief would be to not experience the love; and it is love that gives life its richness and meaning."
May you feel the love of our Savior at this time.
All my prayers,

As I sit here reading your blog and comments given, I am overcome with the fact that our primary theme this year is My Eternal Family. When I sing the words to these songs, and listen to my children sing, I am grateful to know they are not just songs, not just words. We believe these truths and knowing this sustains us during our moments of grief. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers; may the Lord strengthen and comfort you.

I know I've already commented, but since Saturday night you have been in my constant thoughts. Each song about Eternal families yesterday brought tears to my eyes as I thought of you. Please know I will continue to ask the Lord to grant you peace and comfort.
ReplyDeleteSofia,
ReplyDeleteI have already posted a comment but felt like sharing a bit more. I still have you in my thoughts and prayers ... when I was two years old my little sister died at 2 months old. I never could imagine what my mom went through until I had my own child, and now my second son is also 2 months old ... what my mom always said about my sister Carly was that she was perfect, and so Heavenly Father took her home.
Your baby boy was too perfect to live in this world, he is waiting for you in heaven. I know that the atonement will take away your pain some day and give you peace. Again I hope you can find comfort in these eternal truths and in the love of family and friends.
I am so sorry and I hope that the spirit will bring you comfort and peace. My heart breaks for what you are going through. You will be in our prayers.
ReplyDeletethinking of you at this time of sorrow....please know that your in our prayers...always and forever.
ReplyDeleteI love you. I am thankful for your wonderful ideas and the love you have for children everywhere. My heart is so sad to hear of your loss. Praying you and your family will find peace in your hour of great need.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. May you find peace thru your great faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Prince of Peace. May you feel His arms holding you as you endure this great loss and saddness. May you know that many hearts ache for you at this time. I'm so sorry!
ReplyDeleteI don't know you, but I have felt your spirit and benefitted so many times from your blog in preparing sharing times. I went to express my love and appreciation for you and let you know that I am mourning with you over the loss of your sweet baby. I'm so so sorry. You will be in my prayers and I pray that your heart will heal and that you may feel peace and comfort in the days to come. Bless you for all your service. You are a chosen daughter of our Father in Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI am weeping with you. My Father just passed away, and I can't even imagine a child. My prayers are with you, my heart is with you. I have gleened from your strong testimony for so long now. Please know that your son is in God's arms now, and you will see him again. I know how your heart is torn right now. Let other's help you and accept thier love and comfort. It's easy to turn away those that want to comfort you. But I had to learn that thier arms were send from Heaven to comfort me.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and your family.
My heart aches for your loss. I am so sorry. You will be in my prayers. Your Heavenly Father knows you and loves you.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad to hear of your loss. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My son died 6 years ago after living for 10 days. I know of the things you are going through and my hearts breaks for you. Know that he is with God and he is holding him now.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about your loss. It doesn't seem fair to have to say goodbye so soon to such a precious gift. However, it is a gift, and there is some comfort in knowing that this precious little one was so perfect that his job here on earth was already done. Prayers are sent your way. God will bless you.
ReplyDeleteSofia, I am thinking of you. Wishing I could help you in the many ways you have helped me. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs your way. May your knowledge of the gospel help comfort you at this difficult time in your life.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. My whole families prayers are with you and your family. Families are together forever.
ReplyDeleteSofia, I am SOOOoo sorry for your loss. I know my condolences and prayers aren't much, but please know we are thinking and hurting along with you.
ReplyDeleteSofia, I don't even know you and I am weeping. I am SO very, truly sorry for your loss. I have read your blog and I can feel the strength of your testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. That little boy is so lucky to have you for his mom! A righteous daughter of our Heavenly Father. You will ALWAYS be his mom! Families truly are forever and I hope that you are able to hold onto that truth throughout your life. Go to the temple often and I know you will feel the love of our Father in Heaven surround you. You will one day be reunited. What a glorious reunion that will be! Please know that you are loved by so, so many...but most of all by a loving Father in Heaven who loves you more than anything and who is mindful of you and your family. He knows your name! You are His. He will get you through this. Much love to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. I will pray for you Sophie.
ReplyDeleteTry to stay well in body, mind and spirit. Trust Him...He knows all things.
I don't even know what to say, nor can I say I know what you are going through. We were once very close to losing our newborn baby, and words cannot describe the ache that leaves in my heart & he's still here. You are such a valiant woman. Its hard to hear, but you know that Heavenly Father doesn't require more of you than He knows you can handle. Stay close to Him. You are so very much loved.
ReplyDeleteOh, and this is meant to put a smile on your face:
ReplyDeleteHow boring would it be up in Heaven if it was just a bunch of old people? :)
My deepest condolences. My heart aches for you. I am humbled to watch others who I believe to have the strongest and purest testimonies of the love of our Savior go through the most difficult trials the heart can take.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. You will be in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteDear Sofia,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about what has happened. You touched so many hearts with your inspiring website.
Don't give up hope. It's okay to be sad but don't be sad forever.
On my mission, my cousin went back to Heavenly Father. My heart ached to be home. I research death in the scriptures because I needed comfort and answers. It's not a happy topic but I know the Great Plan of Happines is true. We can be together forever as a family. Take care.
I have never even met you, yet my heart is heavy and my eyes are full. I'm so sorry for your loss and the pain and anguish you must be feeling and I can't imagine that it will go away any time soon. Please know that love and prayers are being sent your way. I pray that you will find some peace.
ReplyDeleteWe will pray for you & your family.
ReplyDeleteYou are in our prayers. May you and your family find the comfort and the strength you need.
ReplyDeleteYou and your family are in my prayers. I can't imagine any greater pain. Even with the knowledge of his Eternal Plan, the pain is still great. I pray that you will be comforted and will feel the love that Heavenly Father has for you.
ReplyDeleteDear Sofia
ReplyDeleteHow sad I am to hear about the passing of your sweet baby boy! I will keep you in my prayers and I know that Heavenly Father will bless you with His comfort and love.
Isn't it wonderful that we have the gospel that teaches eternal principles? How blessed we are to know that your baby boy is a celestial being, and did all he was sent to do, kept his 2nd estate, and has received his eternal reward in the Celestial Kingdom of our loving Heavenly Father. I know our beloved Saviour would have wrapped His welcoming and loving arms around your treasure when he got home to Heaven.
Please know that a sister in Mount Gambier, South Australia loves you and is praying for the blessings of heaven upon you and yours.
Love from my heart to yours across the sea

I am so sorry. Thank goodness for the Gospel, and the knowledge we have...Families are Forever! You will see him again. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteMay the Lord bless you and keep you safely in his arms. I can't imagine what you're going through. I pray you are comforted at this difficult time. Hugs, Andi @ ldscreativitycorner.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI am truly overwhelmed by the amount of responses you have had. I am not sure that you will get this far down the page but I just want to say I understand your loss.
ReplyDeleteYou are the second person this week that someone has asked me to respond to regarding losing a baby. My baby was lost to SIDS at 6 months of age. I felt like the world just kept on going and didn't even bother to stop to grieve with me. Someone once said, "the pain will never go away it will just become less frequent."
It is okay to cry. It has been 15 years since my daughter died. She was my first, but I still feel hurt. Yes, I do know that I will be with her again someday. I know, it was testified to me through the Spirit.
My prayers and heart are with you as you go through this. Just remember, there are those of us out here standing by your side who understand!
God bless you and your family. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteSofia, I happened to read of your loss as I checked sugar doodle for an idea for my young women's lesson. I am so sorry. I too know the heartache of losing a child. I have lost two; my precious one year old son as well as my 7 week old beautiful baby girl. Knowing you are going through this hurts me as well. Nothing can prepare you for such a trial. The only really lasting peace comes from our Savior and His perfect love for us. My advice to you: Read the Book of Mormon like you've never read it before, you will find great power and strength there. Go to the temple often; in His Holy House, you will feel your son closer to you than anywhere else on this earth. Within those walls is where your broken heart will start to mend. It takes time though, and don't be frightened by all the different feelings you will have, just pray that the negative ones will be short-lived; they are all part of the healing process. Your loss is never something you will get over, it is just something you will get used to with time and patience. It has been a very difficult and painful road, one I will always travel; but I have come to know that these things don't happen by accident or chance. There is a plan for each of us and how blessed we are to be given the opportunity to learn the things we need so that we can be forever families. All my love, Marcy
ReplyDeletePraying for you to find comfort!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry, I wish so deeply that no one has to lose a child. You will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI do not know you personally, but my heart goes out to you and your sweet family. Yes, He is with Christ. Perhaps we could say you were lucky to be blessed with such a beautiful PERFECT spirit, that all he needed was a body. I'm sure your arms ache for him. Remember at these times that the Lord has His arms wrapped around you and is rocking you and comforting you as you did your baby. You are HIS baby and I'm sure he is shedding tears for you.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Barb Troen
I love you, your Heavenly Father loves you, and your little baby loves you for being his mother...
ReplyDeleteI also am very sorry to hear of your loss. And I know, it doesn't really get any easier to bear, it just gets pushed down deeper inside over the years. Heavenly Father is the only one who can help make it bearable, ever, and I pray that He will make it so for you also....
ReplyDeletewith love,

Sofia, May the Lord bless and comfort you as you have blessed so many. We will be praying with you.
ReplyDeleteMay the spirit of the Lord comfort you like never before. I'm expecting a son in only two short months and I try not to worry about him. I know our Father sees the bigger picture for us. This is a test of faith. I pray that you will feel more love than pain...
ReplyDeleteYou must be a very strong faithful spirit. I know that Heavenly Father sends us trials that He knows we can deal with. I am sure He has also sent you His Spirit to comfort and see you through this hard time. I don't know you personally, but you are my sister all the same and as such I feel your pain. Remember that Christ has a special relationship with children and He loves them dearly. I know your little one is not alone and he is being loved and taken care of.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying that a spirit of comfort will be with you and your family at this time. We are sorry for your loss. May the Lord bless you.
ReplyDeleteSofia, I cry with you and your family for your loss. I know how badly it hurts, for I, too lost a baby. Mine was 2 weeks old when he died. I will pray that the Comforter will bless you and your family with peace in knowing he is with God. And that families can be together forever. Sending love and prayers.

I do love you, even though we don't know each other more personally. I share your faith and hope and can only imagine your sorrow. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers, my sister, Sofia!
ReplyDeleteYou are in my prayers. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know families are FOREVER.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do something to make it all better. There could be nothing worse than losing a child. I hope that your sorrow and grief will pass quickly and time will heal your aching heart. There is a purpose to all things and in the next life you will be able to know why this had to happen to your beautiful son. My prayers are with you!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear of your loss! I cannot even imagine what you are going through. Hold on to the Lord and I pray that He will get you through this time.
