Requests? Requests?

The Last Supper from the New Gospel Art Book See Here for more details

The month of April is, "Song of your choice about Jesus Christ from the Children's Songbook, Hymns, Friend or Liahona". (2009 Outline for Sharing Time and the Children's Sacrament Meeting Presentation)

I've got some free time. And since sitting in front of a computer with my scriptures is easier than the cheapo exercise machine we bought at Sears- don't get me wrong, I blame myself not the machine. Well maybe I blame stores that sell $2 individual cake slabs called devil dogs a little bit too...really if it comes down to it... So I've decided to see what you might need help with! What song did you choose for this month? Would you like a couple different ideas to help with that song? Leave a comment and I'll say a prayer or two or three to see if any ideas come.

Update: Hello! I've gone ahead and taken the first 10 song requests of those who've commented. Hope to be of some help! Please pardon as 10 will keep me busy for a time and I will not be able to keep up with any further requests - at this time. Thank you for your patience!!

Dearest Sofia- You are an amazing helper!!! Thanks so much... See if you can come up with something for the song The family is of God. It is in the friend and was the other pick for Jan. I loved this little song so much that I wanted to make sure and bring it into the program somehow. We are also doing it so that the whole Primary sings 1st and 4th verse but I will have a little boy sing the 2nd verse about daddies and a little girl sing about mommies. Thanks in advance....

We are doing Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam, because for our SP in the fall we are going to get the Sunbeams to do with Sun hats on. It'll be something to make them feel really special as they can do it on their own. I am not sure what we are going to do for the rest of them still.

We chose Jesus is Our Loving Friend- partly because it has the sweetest message, and partly because it is very short and simple!! We've learned three challenging songs in a row and decided our kids need a little break. Maybe we'll even have time for some of the "golden oldies" that there's never time for anymore :-)

Thank you so much, Sofia, for your wonderful ideas and testimony of the Gospel!

How bout "Did Jesus Really Live Again?" I used one of your suggestions from last month...really appreciate your ideas! I'm new to the whole chorister thing so I'm still trying to find my "groove!" :)

Beijo!

Wonderful! I am planning on teaching Beautiful Savior. It is my favorite primary song and I am thrilled - but stumped as far as how to teach it effectively. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks for your Blog. I find it so helpful in my preparation for Primary. We have chosen "I think when I read that sweet Story".
